The flagship Dorcas dress from summer 2017. The flagship Dorcas dress from spring 2023. I photographed them both: they’re one and the same dress, with just a slight change in which fabrics are available. These are the clothes we need if we’re to break out of our vicious cycle of fast fashion.
In this shoot I tried to capture how when you wear this dress you can do anything: layer it up, go to the woods, fold it in so your 4-year-old can wear one too (she insisted). Wear it while pregnant and proudly put your hands in your pockets.
